Latest Updates from Our Project:

What to expect July 1 (pledge levels)
about 2 months ago – Thu, Jun 25, 2026 at 09:25:31 AM

Hey everyone! Now that we're less than a week away (ahh how did we get here so fast?), we thought it'd be good to let you know what to expect.

There will be three pledge levels to choose from (if you're one of our paid patrons, you'll get the exclusive Nanotyrannus in addition to the other 5 dinos!):

The Basic Pack: You'll get all 5 (or 6, if you're a patron!) dinosaur rookie cards!

The Collector Pack: You'll get all 5 (6 if you're a patron) of the dino rookie cards, plus stickers of the dinosaurs!

The Premium Collector Pack: You'll get all 5 (6 if you're a patron) dino cards, plus stickers, plus our Styracosaurus enamel pin!

We will also offer add-ons, including keychains, magnets, a field guide for all 55 of the dinosaurs of 2025, printables, and more! (We'll share details on those soon).

And, if we reach our stretch goals, each of these packs will include our stretch goal dinosaurs (don't forget to vote in our polls for which dinos you want if you haven't already!)

Will you help us spread the word? (plus, dino trivia!)

We're a little more than a week away from launching our campaign 🎉!

Will you help us spread the word? The more momentum we get going into our launch, the more likely we are to reach our funding goal and make these dinosaur trading cards 🦖🦕🦖🦕

The easiest way to do that is to share this link: https://iknowdino.com/cards (it will take them right to this page)

And as a thank you, here's one of the trivia questions from our Dinosaurs of 2025 Trivia Game (which you can get for FREE if you back our project within the first 48 hours of it going live...basically July 1 to July 3 😀)

Make it a game! Who knows more about the dinosaurs of 2025: you...or your friend (that you've shared this page with)? 😉

Thanks for pledging! Quick update and what you'll get if you back in the first 48 hours

Hello hello, welcome, and thank you to our 136 followers! We're very excited to be launching our project in 13 days.

With that in mind, we've got a special bonus for our Early Bird backers. If you back Dinosaur Rookie Cards - Collectibles for Dinosaur Fanatics in the first 48 hours (July 1 to 3), you'll get our "Dinosaurs of 2025 Trivia Game."

It's a set of 25 dinosaur trivia questions that you can play with friends and family at home! You can download the questions and an answer sheet you can print out to play.

Note: The questions will all be about dinosaurs named in 2025, so you'll have a big advantage if you listen to the I Know Dino podcast 😎

Don't forget the sauropodomorphs! Vote now!
2 months ago – Tue, Jun 16, 2026 at 10:32:16 AM

So far Mexidracon and Shri rapax are in the lead, and there's still time to let us know which sauropodomorph you'd like to see as a card!

Lishulong wangi OR Xingxiulong yueorum

Lishulong was a sauropodomorph with a big impressive head, and surprisingly sharp teeth.

Xingxiulong yueorum was a basal sauropodomorph that is preserved beautifully articulated and quite a bit bigger than the previous species from the genus.

VOTE NOW!

There's still time to vote (and two more polls that could use more votes)!

Looks like Shri rapax is in the lead for our first poll! Let us know what you think of the other two options!

We've got one poll attached to this update, and if you scroll to the bottom of this page you can vote on the other polls.

Mexidracon longimanus OR Pulaosaurus qinglong

Mexidracon was an ornithomimid with particularly long hands which may have helped it gather up vegetation.

Pulaosaurus was a neornithischian found with a nearly complete skeleton including a fossilized voice box.
